I live approximately 4 miles north of Dumfries town centre.  If you are coming from Dumfries, take the left turn off the Edinburgh Road (A701) at Heathhall which is signposted 'Kirkton and Auldgirth'.

​

The cottage is located on Kirkton village green, two down from the village hall. In the google map image above you can see where I'm located as the first cottage on the left as you approach the green.  If you miss it, parking is available on the green itself.

There is car parking space right outside and there are no steps up to the house.
