Childhood Trauma

Neglect and abuse in childhood can cause long lasting effects. Being able to talk about these experiences in a safe and trusting environment where you can be really heard allows for increased understanding of self.  This can lead to positive changes in the present and allow for healing.

You do not need to bring a specific issue to counselling.  Whatever is causing you uncomfortable, painful or confusing feelings, can benefit from the therapeutic relationship that counselling offers.
